CTCF抗体(B-5)是一种IgG1 κ小鼠单克隆CTCF抗体(也称为CTCF抗体或CCCTC结合因子(锌指蛋白)抗体),可通过WB、IP、IF和ELISA检测小鼠、大鼠和人类来源的CTCF。CTCF抗体(B-5)既可以以非偶联的抗CTCF抗体形式提供,也可以以多种偶联形式的抗CTCF抗体提供,包括琼脂糖、HRP、PE、FITC和多种Alexa Fluor®偶联物。CTCF属于锌指转录因子家族,它能识别异常长且显著不同的DNA目标序列,从而影响许多不同基因的表达。CTCF的DNA结合域由11个锌指组成,其中10个属于C2H2类,1个属于C2HC类,它们在脊椎动物物种之间高度保守。CTCF作为c-myc基因的抑制因子和溶菌酶基因表达的调节因子发挥作用。此外,CTCF与淀粉样前体蛋白(APP)基因启动子区域中的必需激活结构域相关联,以激活APP的转录。CTCF的表达上调APP的表达,从而增强发育过程中初级神经元之间的突触形成。CTCF在细胞核中普遍表达并定位。在终末分化过程中,CTCF受到差异磷酸化的负调控,同时也受到CTCF mRNA和蛋白质表达减少的负调控。
