To my question about IHC", you mentioned the product COL1A2 (E-6): sc-393573. But the description of the product suggest "HRP (sc-393573 HRP)" for IHC(P). Is there no difference between the products "sc-393573" and "sc-393573 HRP" for IHC(P) and WB?

Thank you for your question. The difference between the catalog numbers, sc-393573 and sc-393573 HRP, is that the latter is the primary antibody directly conjugated to horse radish peroxidase (HRP). This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC(P), and if you purchase the unconjugated antibody, you will need to use a secondary antibody, or mouse IgG binding protein for detection. Alternatively, if you prefer to use a directly conjugated primary antibody, you can purchase the HRP conjugated antibody and also use it for both WB and IHC(P).

Also, what is the recommended secondary antibody in IHC? There are only those written for IF, WB etc

Thank you for your question. We would recommend using our HRP-conjugated mouse IgG binding protein, m-IgGκ BP-HRP (sc-516102), for indirect immunoperoxidase staining, in lieu of conventional anti-mouse secondary antibodies. Alternatively, we would recommend if you are using the Avidin-Biotin Complex (ABC) staining protocol to select any conventional biotinylated anti-mouse IgG secondary antibody and use in conjunction with our ImmunoCruz® ABC Kit (sc-516216).

What is the recommended agent for antigen unmasking in IHC
