cGAS抗体（C-1）是一种小鼠单克隆IgM抗体，可通过蛋白质印迹（WB）、免疫沉淀（IP）、免疫荧光（IF）、石蜡包埋切片免疫组织化学（IHCP）和酶联免疫吸附测定（ELISA）检测人类来源的cGAS蛋白。抗cGAS抗体（C-1）以非结合形式提供。cGAS蛋白（又称MB21D1）作为胞浆DNA传感器在先天免疫反应中发挥着关键作用。当在细胞质中检测到外来DNA时，cGAS会催化ATP和GTP合成环状GMP-AMP（cGAMP），随后激活干扰素基因刺激因子（STING）通路，从而产生I型干扰素。这一过程对于启动抗病毒免疫反应至关重要，因为干扰素有助于在邻近细胞中建立抗病毒状态并增强免疫细胞的活性。cGAS在多种细胞类型中表达，包括单核细胞系THP1，并存在两种可替代的剪接异构体，其基因位于人类染色体6q13上。cGAS能够识别细胞质DNA并触发强烈的免疫反应，这凸显了其在抵御病毒感染和维护细胞稳态方面的重要性。

What is the antigen retrieval used in the immunoperoxidase assay?

Thank you for your question. We recommend using sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0) with heat treatment for antigen retrieval with this antibody.

How much sample do you recommend loading on the gel for Western blot detection using cGAS (C-1): sc-515802?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This Ab can't detect cGAS bandUnfortunately, this antibody (C-1) antibody did not detect a band of the correct size under my conditions, even with the anti-IgM secondary antibody. I have shown by shRNA knockdown that the D-9 antibody recognizes mouse cGAS.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good antibody except it is a IgMGood antibody to detect endogenous cGAS by western blotting and IFA. The only inconvenience is you have to buy a anti-IgM secondary antibody.
