CD98抗体（E-5）是一种IgG1 κ小鼠单克隆CD98抗体（也称为SLC3A2抗体，或溶质载体家族3成员2抗体），可通过WB、IP、IF、IHC(P)和ELISA检测人源CD98蛋白。CD98抗体（E-5）既有非偶联抗CD98抗体形式，也有多种偶联形式的抗CD98抗体，包括琼脂糖、辣根过氧化物酶（HRP）、藻红蛋白（PE）、异硫氰酸荧光素（FITC）和多种Alexa Fluor®偶联物。CD98（4F2、CD98、MDU1、4F2HC、4T2HC、NACAE）是由一个糖基化重链和一个非糖基化轻链组成的二硫键连接异二聚体。CD98是一种脚手架蛋白，与基底外侧表达的氨基酸转运体和β1整合素相互作用，可以改变氨基酸转运和细胞粘附、迁移和分支形态发生。重链是II型整合膜蛋白。CD98在T细胞上表达，并在T细胞激活时上调。CD98也存在于单核细胞上，在粒细胞、血小板和淋巴细胞上的水平较低。有证据表明，CD98可能在调节T细胞活化和增殖中发挥作用。人类CD98基因存在编码不同异构体的替代转录剪接变体。
