CD71/TFRC/转铁蛋白受体抗体（G-8）是一种IgG1 κ小鼠单克隆CD71抗体，可通过WB、IP、IF、IHC（P）和ELISA检测小鼠、大鼠和人类的CD71。CD71/TFRC/转铁蛋白受体抗体（G-8）可以以非偶联的抗CD71抗体形式提供，也可以以多种偶联形式的抗CD71抗体提供，包括琼脂糖、HRP、PE、FITC和多种Alexa Fluor®偶联物。CD71，也称为转铁蛋白受体（TFR），是一种II型膜糖蛋白，以两个相同亚基的二硫键连接同源二聚体形式存在。CD71与两个分子的转铁蛋白和一种血清铁转运蛋白结合，并通过受体介导的内吞作用指导细胞对铁的摄取。CD71通常在所有增殖细胞、网织红细胞和红细胞前体上高水平表达。它在静息的白细胞上不表达，但在淋巴细胞、单核细胞和巨噬细胞被激活时上调。CD71也存在于大多数分裂细胞和脑内皮细胞上。第二种转铁蛋白受体TFR2也介导转铁蛋白结合铁的摄取。TFR2是由两个亚基组成的同源二聚体，在肝脏以及肝细胞和红细胞前体中高度表达。TFR2基因突变导致遗传性血色病III型（HFE3），这是一种主要见于白种人的铁超载疾病。
