Hi, is this antibody specific to the extracellular domain for human CD47? I would like to stain frozen, formalin-fixed macaque tissue and am interested specifically in the extracellularly localized CD47. Thanks in advance!

A desperate client of mine with a dog with an intestinal tumor, cited a Standford U research that used CD47 for shrinking tumors. Is it available for sale? Dose? Cost?

Does this antibody detect mouse CD47 in western blot? I thought it only detects human CD47 previously. You had MIAP301 for mouse. What have you changed in B6H12 antibody that it's able to detect mouse CD47?

Thank you for your question. No, this antibody is specific for human CD47. We added mouse to the species reactivity based on a product citation using this antibody. However, we are going to remove mouse and only recommend this for human, unless we are able to get data in a mouse sample with this clone.

Hi Can i use this antibody for flow Cytometric and western blot assay for the detection of CD47 on erythrocytes of Rhesus and Cynomolgus macaques?

Thank you for your question. This CD47 monoclonal antibody has been tested and published for Western blot and flow cytometry in human samples. We are not aware of any data or product citations in Rhesus and Cynomolgus macaques. Although, this CD47 clone B6H12 is recommended for detection of CD47 in primates, so it may also be suitable for these species.

Thank you for your question. This mouse monoclonal antibody was raised against intact CD47 purified from placenta. The exact epitope recognized by the monoclonal antibody has not been determined.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from it doesn't work in WBI have tested this antibody for WB (1:200) on whole cell lysates from HEK293, Jurkat and U251. Despite the datasheet shows a clear band around 49kDa, I could not detect any band in any of these cell lines. We tested several conditions and we can confirm the antibody doesn't work.
