May I ask can this antibody be used to detect the cleaved form of caspase-4?? #caspase-4 Antibody (4B9): sc-56056

Thank you for your question. This mouse monoclonal antibody, caspase-4 (4B9): sc-56056, has not been used before for detection of the specific apoptotic cleaved forms of caspase-4.

Does this antibody have an associated blocking peptide?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from no expected bands including loading control GAPDHWe bought it ~ 2 weeks ago alone with its positive control (HeLa whole cell lysate: sc-2200). When running it with HUVECs, no band is visible for cleaved GASPASE 4. Even worse, when probing the same membrane with GAPDH antibody, no band shows up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked really well for meI got this antibody two weeks and I run a western blot on THP-1 cell lysate using 30ug of protein the result was stunning!! I use it in combination with sc-516102 and I got very clear bands and non-specific binding were NOT detected in any membrane. What can I say great product (as always) and competent technical service. The only issue I had was that I had to use a long exposure time.
