Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works for IFI got a free sample to test this antibody for IF using free-floating brain sections from postnatal day 1 mice. It did not worked with regular immunostaining protocol, probably due to poor penetration of this antibody to nuclei. I finally got it to work by modifying the protocol. Here is a brief protocol I used: 1) wash sections 3 times in PBS. 2) pre-treat sections in 0.8% triton in PBS for 40 min. 3) Perform antigen retrieval (citrate buffer pH 9.0) 85 degree for 30 min, cool to RT. 4) block with 10% serum. 5) Incubate with primary antibody 1:400, overnight at 4 degree (with 0.3% triton). 6) secondary antibody biotin-anti-mouse IgG. 7) Avidin-alex488.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Brn2 antibody does not work for IFClaims to work for IF but after following their protocols precisely and testing on multiple timepoints and samples (cortex) I was not able to get satisfactory signal. I would strongly NOT recommend. Furthermore I tried to troubleshoot with SCBT technical support and they were not helpful at all. Did not answer my questions and did not seem to even understand the problem. Complete waste of time.
