BACE抗体(61-3E7)是一种小鼠单克隆IgG1 kappa轻链抗体,可通过蛋白质印迹(WB)、免疫沉淀(IP)、免疫荧光(IF)和免疫组织化学检测小鼠、大鼠和人类来源的BACE蛋白。抗BACE抗体(61-3E7)有非结合型和多种结合型,包括琼脂糖、辣根过氧化物酶(HRP)、藻红蛋白(PE)、异硫氰酸荧光素(FITC)和多种Alexa Fluor®结合物。BACE蛋白(又称β-site APP cleaving enzyme 1)在阿尔茨海默病的发病机理中起着关键作用,它通过切割淀粉样蛋白前体(APP)产生淀粉样β肽(Aβ),后者是阿尔茨海默病患者大脑中淀粉样斑块的主要成分。BACE对APP的切割是这些斑块形成的关键步骤,而斑块的形成与神经退行性疾病和认知能力下降有关。BACE主要定位于高尔基体和内体中,这一点非常重要,因为BACE活性受细胞环境和运输途径的调节。了解BACE的定位和功能对于制定旨在调节BACE活性以预防或治疗阿尔茨海默病的治疗策略至关重要。BACE和相关蛋白Asp1在人体组织中广泛表达,在胰腺中的表达水平最高,这凸显了BACE在神经和代谢过程中的重要性。

Is this anitbody specific to BACE? Will it detect other proteins such as BACE2?
