Can I get antibody at 1mg/mL concentration. In my pulldown protocol the beads cannot be diluted too much and the current 0.2mg/mL concentration is too dilute

I noticed, that you've replaced the sc-7011-R antibody against aSyn with this new 211 ab. Does also the new ab recognize mouse aSyn and work in immunocytochemistry? Is it possible to get a small aliquote of the new ab for testing? Thanks!

Thank you for your question. We do not currently have any data in mouse samples using the (211) clone, although this clone has been published in mouse, and some customer reviews indicate positive results in mouse samples. The antibody is recommended for IF and IHC(P) on human samples. We also offer a variety of other α-synuclein antibodies. Please contact our Technical Service Department for a recommendation for the best antibodies for your research applications, and for information about our antibody sample program.

I want to know, this antibody will detect total alpha-syn or monomeric alpha-syn or oligomeric alpha-syn?

Thank you for the question. This clone was raised against amino acid 121-125 of α-synuclein of human origin. It does detect the target protein under denaturing conditions in a Western blot as well as in applications like IHC(P). We have not yet determined if the level of reactivity with oligomeric alpha-syn would be different compared to the monomeric alpha-syn.
