I am testing for abundance of ADIPOR2 in HEPG2 cells. I am detecting two specific bands with the lighter band being slightly above the 50kDa spot. Have you observed or heard from others regarding any possible post-transcriptional modification of ADIPOR2?

Will this also detect ADIPOR1 or is it specific to ADIPOR2 only?

Thank you for your question. This mouse monoclonal antibody, AdipoR2 (A-3): sc-514045, is specific for AdipoR2 and will not cross-react with AdipoR1.
