ZNF181 Antibody (16-Z) is a high quality monoclonal ZNF181 antibody (also designated ZNF181 antibody) suitable for the detection of the ZNF181 protein of human origin. ZNF181 Antibody (16-Z) is available as the non-conjugated anti-ZNF181 antibody. Zinc-finger proteins contain DNA-binding domains and have a wide variety of functions, most of which encompass some form of transcriptional activation or repression. The majority of zinc-finger proteins contain a Krüppel-type DNA binding domain and a KRAB domain, which is thought to interact with KAP1, thereby recruiting histone modifying proteins. ZNF181 (zinc finger protein 181), also known as HHZ181 is a 571 amino acid protein that contains one KRAB domain and eleven C2H2-type zinc fingers. Localized to the nucleus, ZNF181 is one of several members of the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc-finger family and is thought to be involved in transcriptional regulation. Two isoforms of ZNF181 exist due to alternative splicing events.
