PET112L Antibody (47.1) is a high quality monoclonal PET112L antibody (also designated PET112L antibody) suitable for the detection of the PET112L protein of human origin. PET112L Antibody (47.1) is available as the non-conjugated anti-PET112L antibody. PET112L is the human homolog of the S. cerevisiae COX assembly protein pet112, a protein that is believed to play an important role in the translation of mitochondrial genes. PET112L, also known as HSPC199 or Glu-ADT subunit B (glutamyl-tRNA(Gln) amidotransferase subunit B), is a 557 amino acid protein belonging to the gatB/gatE family of proteins (GatB subfamily) and is believed to play a role in energy metabolism. Localizing to mitochondria, PET112L is expressed in tissues such as heart and muscle, which exhibit high rates of oxidative phosphorylation. The gene encoding PET112L is overexpressed in recurrent ependymoma.

For Western Blot, is it recommended to use denatured or non-denatured conditions with PET112L (47.1): sc-100970 antibody?
Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. We recommend this antibody for use in denatured Western Blot conditions. It has not been validated for use in non-denatured conditions. Please contact our Technical Service Department for further details or inquiries.
