Can sc-101246: KiSS-1 (24-Q) monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?
Thank you for your question. Yes, sc-101246: KiSS-1 (24-Q) is recommended for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here:

Reliable Results
Our lab solely uses this antibody for detection of KISS1, works well with human and mouse samples. We have had good results for WB, IHC, and IF.

Didnt have luck in sheep hypothalamus
Using free-floating sections from sheep tissue, and an immunoperoxidase method of IHC, we did not see any immunostained cells using this antibody at dilutions of
1:1000, 1:2000, or 1:4000.
