KIF26A Antibody (YY-N) is a high quality monoclonal KIF26A antibody (also designated KIF26A antibody) suitable for the detection of the KIF26A protein of human origin. KIF26A Antibody (YY-N) is available as the non-conjugated anti-KIF26A antibody. The kinesins constitute a large family of microtubule-dependent motor proteins, which are responsible for the distribution of numerous organelles, vesicles and macromolecular complexes throughout the cell. Individual kinesin members play crucial roles in cell division, intracellular transport and membrane trafficking events including endocytosis and transcytosis. KIF26A (kinesin family member 26A) is a 1,882 amino acid protein that contains one N-terminal kinesin-motor domain and belongs to the kinesin-like protein family. The kinesin-motor domain is responsible for the ATP-dependent movement of KIF26A across microtubules.

For Western Blot, is it recommended to use denatured or non-denatured conditions with KIF26A (YY-N): sc-100949 antibody?
Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. We recommend this antibody for use in denatured Western Blot conditions. It has not been validated for use in non-denatured conditions. Please contact our Technical Service Department for further details or inquiries.
