Does this antibody(GFP Antibody (1A5)) works for venus? If not, do you have any idea which GFP antibody here can recognize Venus?

Thank you for your question. GFP Antibody (1A5) is a rat monoclonal raised against recombinant GFP. Unfortunately, the exact sequence used as an immunogen is not known, nor is the epitope recognized by this specific clone. We do offer a broad variety of GFP antibodies where this information is available. For example, our GFP Antibody (C-2): sc-390394 is specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 167-182 within an internal region of GFP of Aequorea victoria origin.

I would like to use GFP Antibody (1A5): sc-101536 for double staining with another mouse monoclonal primary antibody. Is this possible?
Thank you for your question. In cases like this, we recommend using our directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibodies. Currently, sc-101536 is not available directly conjugated, but we have an alternative GFP antibody (sc-9996) that is available conjugated to HRP, FITC, PE, Alexa Fluor® 488 and Alexa Fluor® 647. I am looking for a GFP antibody that was raised against the amino acid sequence 215-230 (RDHMVL LEFVTAAGIT). Do you have any antibody like this? Thanks!
Thank you for your question. Most of our GFP antibodies were raised against full length recombinant GFP, which includes this portion of the sequence that you have specified. However, the exact epitope recognized by each monoclonal antibody has not been determined.
