Fgl2 Antibody (4H5) is a high quality monoclonal Fgl2 antibody (also designated Fgl2 antibody) suitable for the detection of the Fgl2 protein of mouse, rat and human origin. Fgl2 Antibody (4H5) is available as the non-conjugated anti-Fgl2 antibody. Fibrinogen-like protein 2 (Fgl2), also known as fibroleukin, is secreted by T cells and is involved in diseases in which thrombosis plays a pivotal role, such as virus-induced fulminant hepatitis, fetal loss syndrome, and xenograft rejection. Constitutively expressed in cytotoxic T-cells, Fgl2 exerts immunosuppressive effects on both T cell proliferation and dendritic cell maturation. Fgl2 is a serine protease and directly cleaves prothrombin to thrombin. Fgl2 functions in the pathogenesis of diseases including viral-induced hepatitis and Th1 cytokine-induced fetal loss syndrome.

How would you recommend using this antibody for flow cytometry? What concentration and whether the sample should be fixed or not?
Asked by: MaryamGH
Thank you for your question. We do not currently recommend this antibody for flow cytometry (FCM) because we have not tested the antibody in that application. However, we are aware of one product citation for FCM. Please refer to PMID: 29109438 for additional information.

Can sc-100276: Fgl2 (4H5) be stored at -20℃？
Asked by: KOBE
Thank you for your question. No, due to the buffer composition containing gelatin, it is not appropriate to store the antibodies at -20ºC, doing so will void the warranty and cause the reactivity to decline. The antibody is stable and should be stored at 4ºC.

Can sc-100276: Fgl2 (4H5) monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?
Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. Yes, sc-100276: Fgl2 (4H5) is recommended for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here:
