Hi, The EGFR Antibody (528) cat. # sc-120 is mentioned to be used for WB under non-reducing conditions. Can this antibody detect EGFR in their reduced forms? Thanks

Thank you for your question. For western blot application the (528) clone is likely to be di-sulfide bridge dependent therefore we recommend running the western blot under non-reducing conditions. If you have any further questions, please contact Technical Service.

Can this antibody be used for immunohistochemical staining of mouse tissue?

Thank you for your inquiry. This antibody can be used to stain mouse tissue, however we recommend using one of the directly conjugated forms. This EGFR antibody is available conjugated to PE, FITC, AF488, AF647 and more.

What secondary is recommended for this primary when using a fluorescent imaging system in Western Blot?

I compared this antibody to EGFR (A-10) sc-373746 and the banding pattern was completely different. If I chose to analyze my data with this antibody it would have completely biased my data and results.
