Are there any issues with using sc-101387: CYP8B1 (M15-P3B7) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Rated 1 out of 5 by Vinay from Unspecific bands We got CYP8b1 and FGFR4 antibody samples and they do not work for WB application. For both these antibodies tried on murine liver samples (on different blots) we got unspecific bands at exact same MW which we could not get rid off even after harsh stripping. It took us lot of time and energy for nothing in the end.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Phil789 from Cyp8b1 antibody gives good bands on Liver Western I received Cyp8b1 sample antibody with Cyp27a1 sample antibody and both gave good bands on mouse liver westerns. Used 1:1000 dilutions for primary and secondary antibodies, and "femto" enhancer instead of regular "pico" enhancer. Got really good bands, see picture

Rated 4 out of 5 by Maff from WB Results I applied for a sample two week ago.My sample is the mouse liver. Incubated the antibody for overnight at 4℃, 1:1000 dilution, and m-IgGκ BP-HRP incubated for 1 hour at RT , 1:1000 dilution.The results are shown in the figure.
