UV Transparent Microplates – UltraCruz^®

UltraCruz^® Ultraviolet (UV) Transparent Microplates come with superior UV transparency and are ideal for determining protein and/or nucleic acid concentration in a 96 well or 384 well format. Perfect for measuring nucleic acid and protein concentrations at 260 nm and 280 nm, UV Transparent Microplates have an expanded optical window down to 230 nm. UV Transparent Microplates are designed with alphanumeric well coding and made of polystyrene with flat bottom transparent wells, which offer low background and higher throughput. Non-autoclavable, untreated and non-sterile, UV Transparent Microplates are free of DNase/RNase, human DNA and pyrogens. UV Transparent Microplates are resistant to most chemicals including DMSO and are resistant to temperatures between -80° C to +40° C. UV Transparent Microplates may be used with a swinging-bucket rotor at maximum RCF of 4,800 x g. Half area UV Transparent Microplates use 50% less sample and reagent volumes without the need to change the formats of the plates.
