Santa Cruz Biotechnology offers normal sera for use in immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. Normal sera are provided as neat serum, for use as blocking reagents in IHC. The serum used should be of the same species as that in which the secondary antibody was raised. For example, if using mouse anti-rabbit IgG-HRP secondary antibody in a research application, select the normal mouse serum as the blocking reagent.
